Dr. McCabe is one of the foremost eye surgeons and physicians practicing today. She is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin. She then completed her residency training at the world's most prestigious ophthalmology program at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. McCabe specializes in laser treatment and surgery for laser vision correction, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Dr. McCabe has recieved several highly prestigious awards and honors for her work including the American Cancer Society Fellowship Award, the Armand J. Quick Award, the Hiram Benjamin Award and the Frankow Award for Outstanding Scholarship. Dr. McCabe has published numerous articles, book chapters and is a frequent lecturer at ophthalmological and optometric seminars. Dr. McCabe has made serveral mission trips to aid those individuals in the greatest need. Her mission trips have included Bolivia, Belize, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Paraguay. She and her husband, Dave, have four children: Morgan, Casey, Max and Owen.
